Pax8: Adding New Client

How to Add a New Client Company in Pax8

  1. Log in to the Pax8 Platform
    • Go to the Pax8 website and sign in.
    • Make sure you’re logged into the Pax8 Marketplace (not classic).
  1. Go to the Companies Section
    • In the left-hand menu, click Clients or Companies
      (varies slightly depending on your layout; both go to your customer list).
  2. Add a New Company
    • Look for a button such as:
      • “Add Company”
      • “Create Company”
      • “+ Company”
    • Click it.
  3. Enter the Company Details
    You will be prompted for the following:
    • Required Info
      • Company Name
      • Primary Address
      • Country
      • Main Contact Name
      • Contact Email
      • Contact Phone
    • Optional but recommended
      • Billing Contact Info
      • Microsoft Tenant Domain (e.g., companyname.onmicrosoft.com)
      • Company website
      • Tax ID (if applicable)
    • Tip: If the company will have Microsoft 365 services, have the tenant domain ready.
  4. Set Billing Preferences
    Pax8 will ask how invoices should be handled:
    • Billing frequency
    • Primary billing contact
    • Payment method (credit card or ACH if enabled)

      You can also set rebill rules if you mark up services for the client.
  5. Link or Create the Microsoft Tenant (if applicable)
    • If you’re planning to resell Microsoft licenses, you will see an option:
      • “Link Existing Microsoft Tenant”
      • or “Create New Tenant”
    • Follow the prompts:
      • If linking: Sign in with Global Admin credentials to authorize Pax8 as the CSP.
      • If creating: Pax8 will guide you through creating a new tenant domain.
  6. Save the Company
    • Click Save or Create.
    • The new client will now appear in your Clients/Companies list.
  7. Start Adding Services
    Once created, you can:
    • Go to the client record
    • Click Add Products or Marketplace
    • Select licenses (Microsoft 365, backups, security tools, etc.)
    • Assign users when needed
